The 3rd Annual Canadian Sustainable Finance Network (CSFN) Conference!
The 3rd Annual Canadian Sustainable Finance Network (CSFN) Conference will be held in-person on August 29 and 30, 2022 in Victoria, BC, hosted by the Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria.
This annual event brings together academics and financial industry participants to discuss the latest sustainable finance research and share innovations and best practices for sustainable finance education in Canada. The CSFN goal is to support the transition of Canada’s financial system to one in which sustainable growth is ingrained in investment decisions, business practices and government policy.
We are pleased to have two keynote speakers, Prof. Laura Starks of McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, and Senator Rosa Galvez, one of Canada’s leading experts in pollution control and its effect on human health. We expect to have 15 academic papers, with several sessions devoted to emerging scholars (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers). We will have two practitioner panels, one focused on incorporating climate risk and opportunities into investment portfolios, and a second on impact investing.
